Olivia has more than a decade of experience litigating in courts throughout the United States, primarily focusing on patent litigation and counseling. She has experience with a wide array of technologies, including medical devices, data security, DSL, direct marketing, genetic testing, location based services, and voice response systems. She has extensive experience with case management in complex, multi-party representations. Her experience covers all stages of litigation. Her practice also includes non-infringement, invalidity and freedom to operate analyses, as well as drafting formal written opinions.
Olivia also has experience with trademark clearance and prosecution, trade secret litigation, IP due diligence, trademark licensing, and copyright matters.
Olivia devotes a significant amount of her time to volunteer and pro bono activities, including guardianship proceedings for unaccompanied immigrant children and clemency petitions.
Prior to joining Kent & Risley LLC, Olivia was an associate at Jones Day.
